After listening to Caralyn Buehner's book Snowmen at Night, students brainstormed what they thought THEIR snowmen would do at night. Students wrote rough drafts, and then they used KidPix software to type what they wrote and draw an illustration to go with it. We have some creative students at Roosevelt and Alliance!
Using KidPix, students learned how to use the spacebar, how to use the SHIFT key to capitalize words, and they practiced their clicking and dragging.
